So a few weeks ago i went to check out Wilderness at The Cake Shop. Little to my surprise, i would actually check out some dude named San Serac, who was the opener. His shit was amazing. He plugged his iPod into the speakers, and he had a little keyboard and electronic drumpad. The music came on, and he just went nuts, it was most excellent. He would dance and sing jsut bobbing around the stage. Occasionally he would play some keys, or hit the drum pads to trigger cowbells or timbales. Check him out if he comes near your town. http://www.frogmanjake.com/sanserac/

Swillis Time

So a couple of days before NYE, i had the pleasure of spending some time with one of my favorite people, Annie Willis. I also got to finally meet her boyfriend who i have heard so much about. Needless to say, he was all that she had said and more. It really was an enjoyable night.

praise the strike
who knew walking 3.5 miles to work in 20 degree weather could be so enjoyable. ok, so it's not great, but truthfully it ain't that bad. But I would still rather have my subways running.

Animal Collective
So thank god for the mta strike, for it gave me the chance to really listen to the new Animal Collective album "Feels." This is indeed a very good cd, as my friends had been saying. I just fronted on it for a bit too long, as usual. Check it out if you can.

Where's my f*$cking camera
Last night while getting veggies for dip with Kase, we ran into Michael Showalter. Having gone to watch the Tottenham Spurs that morning, I was kind of toasty still, and upon realizing who he was just said, "hey." I managed to inform him that i had just watched Wet Hot American Summer that morning and enjoy his comedy. He nodded and said thanks then walked on his way. I then informed Kase who he was to which he said, "oh.. Hey, love The Baxter, man." All in all we did a good job portraying typical starstuck buffoons. Sadly I didnt have my picture to snap a good shot of us chatting. oh well

Damn Tourists
Does anyone else feel that NYC should divide the sidewalk up. They should have local and tourist sections. That way the local people would constantly have to keep knocking ppl over as non New Yorkers walk so god damn slow.
Thats just my opinion.

Thats right fellow AD fans. I went dressed up as a Bluth Banana. Though only five ppl understood the costume, that was three more than expected.

Why Delaware Sucks
As if we really need more reasons why Delaware is just a weird ass state. see the pictures below
This sign just cracked me up. Is it something like "hey, this is Mexican, I wasnt expecting this!!!"
